A U.S. Senator has asked the CPSC to halt the sale of popular high-powered magnetic desk toys. Junior Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) sent a letter to the CPSC asking it to “remove these dangerous products from the retail market to decrease the potential access children may have.”

New Sunscreen Labeling Regulations Delayed Until December
The FDA has announced that the proposed sunscreen labeling requirements set to go into effect today have been delayed. Manufacturers will now have until December 17, 2012 to update their labels with the appropriate drug and safety information.
