How To See List of Entries in QuickBooks

Ask the Accountant…

Question: How do I see a list of entries in QuickBooks?

Answer: You didn’t say which QuickBooks you use, but these reports are available in both QB Desktop (Pro, Premier, and Enterprise) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, go to “Reports” (on left side of screen), select the “Standard” Tab, scroll down to the report group called “For my accountant.” In the list there will be “Transaction Detail by Account” and “Transaction List by Date”.

In QB Desktop, go to “Reports” (at top of screen) > “Accountant & Taxes.” In this list of choices will be “Transaction Detail by Account” and “Transaction List by Date.”

In either program, select the date ranges you want, and you will find your list of entries.
