9 Ways to Use Pantone’s Color of 2014

My blog about using Emerald in 2013 was popular so I thought I would post a follow-up for 2014. This year’s color: Radiant Orchid (PMS 18-3224). Pantone chose the color because it is an “enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink.” I typed “orchid”, “fuchsia,” “purple” and “pink” into Promo Marketing’s search to find the following nine items. Happy orchid-themed selling!
1. Greeting Card
Nothing says “Stay Radiant” quite like a card that says the words “Stay Radiant” next to a bunch of radiant orchids. Keep your clients up on their color trends by selling them these orchid cards.
2. Cookie Jar

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar? The staff of Promo Marketing did. That is always the answer when orchid-themed cookies are held within (or any cookies, really).
3. Pen

Imprinted pens: They define the promotional industry, don’t they? Update pens for 2014 with the Orchid Roller Ball Pen.
4. Candle

Few things beat lounging in a hot tub surrounded by candles. Equip spas and hotels with the Orchid Gel Candle to keep relaxation on-trend in 2014.
5. Ladies’ T-shirt

Ladies, here’s how to wear radiant orchid. The purple tee is great for any promotion, especially for organizations with shades of purple as their colors. (Think the Alzheimer’s Association and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.)
6. Men’s Hoodie

This men’s pullover is a darker take on the color of 2014, but radiantly orchid just the same. Convincing men to wear purple isn’t always easy, but this hoodie will do the trick. The model looks happy, doesn’t he? It’s because he knows how trendy he is.
7. Tattoo

No list (of mine) would be complete without a temporary tattoo. Make sure your clients buy these in bulk so they can refresh their tattoos every few days.
8. Tumbler

End-users can sip radiant orchids all year from this tumbler.
9. Bows

Bows offer a finishing touch on gifts. Feather bows make bows one kabillion times better. Hot pink feather bows on a radiant orchid-themed gift? I’m out of made-up numbers to express how much better that is.
