Chocolate Inn Ltd., Freeport, N.Y. and Taylor & Grant Specialties Ltd., Buffalo, N.Y., announced the addition of two highly talented senior-level industry veterans to its growing team: Brian Seltzer, CAS, joins the company as vice president of operations, and Dana Serra comes onboard as director of printing operations. Seltzer and Serra add a combined 60-plus years of promotional products experience to the company.
“I am very excited to welcome such tremendous talents, Brian and Dana, to our team,” said David Miller, president of Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant. “I believe these two top-level additions will help to ensure that we provide top-quality products and excellent levels of service to our distributor customers across our growing printing and manufacturing business.”
Seltzer has previously founded and led two companies in the promotional products industry: Graphic Vinyl Products and Premium Shapes. Graphic Vinyl Products (The Graphik Line), which Seltzer led from 1980-1999 before selling the business, was a leading manufacturer of vinyl desk items and business accessories. Following the successful sale of The Graphik Line, Seltzer founded Premium Shapes with his twin brother, Randy. Premium Shapes specialized in four-color process printing on a variety of plastic products. The company was merged with Sunscope in 2008. Seltzer was also previously a member of the SAAGNY board of directors for nine years and was president-elect of SAAGNY in 2008.
“I am excited to join the Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant team,” said Seltzer. “I have a passion for the promotional industry, have tremendous respect for the history of the Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant organization, and look forward to helping establish the Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant business, as a leader in the food gifts segment.”
Serra, who joins the company from Hit Promotional Products, has over 30 years of printing experience in the promotional products industry. Serra spent the first 21 years of his career with Dri Mark Products Inc., helping lead the development and growth of the company’s printing and production departments. He next joined Positive Promotions, helping pioneer the company’s internal printing operations, including overseeing research and development of printing technologies, layout of the printing facility, and printing operations. Most recently, Serra has worked with other industry suppliers, including Jetline, Avaline and Jornik Manufacturing.
“I am excited to join the Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant team,” said Serra. “I believe we have a great group of people and look forward to building Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant into a best-in-class printing organization.”
