The Best of PPAI Expo 2020: Day Two

Welcome to Vegas! All week long, Promo Marketing will be reporting live from the PPAI Expo 2020 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. If you’re at the show, stop by booth 2718 and say hello. If not, keep an eye on our newsletter for product information, session wrap-ups and a whole lot more, brought to you right from the show floor. Up today: Some of the best stuff we saw on the show floor on day two.

The PPAI Expo show floor is so big that you can’t really see it all in one day. At least, you wouldn’t be able to give everything its due attention. So, for the second day of the show, we explored some corners of the show floor we couldn’t venture to yesterday to bring another day of interesting new products, eye-catching displays and hints at greater product trends for the new year.

Just like yesterday, let us know if there’s anything awesome we missed, and be sure to check back in tomorrow for even more Expo coverage. And away we go!

Tranter Graphics Makes Branding With Color Simple (Booth 6105)

By offering a wide variety of colors in drink coolers, plates, drinkware and napkins, Tranter Graphics is making it easy for distributors to equip their restaurant, food service and sports venue end-buyers. These clients want to keep their branding consistent, and color is a huge part of that. Adding a splash of color attracts the eye more than plain white does, too.

Spector & Co. Offers High Perceived Value (Booth 4743)

The holidays might be over, but gift-giving season is all-year-round. These gift sets from Spector & Co. use rustic-looking materials that create a high perceived value, meaning end-users will not only love the function, but show them off any chance they get, too. With items like journals, reusable bottles and writing instruments, there is something for everyone.

3M Goes Outdoors (Booth 5323)

Sticky notes work great on indoor surfaces like computers, walls and tables, but if you need to keep a reminder in a less climate-controlled environment, you might be out of luck. Unless you have these Post-It Extreme Notes, of course. They hold up on outdoor surfaces and in winds up to 40 mph. Sticky!

Credential Express Goes Beyond the Lanyard (Booth 2936)

There are more ways to carry ID cards than around your neck. We bring our smartphones everywhere, so adopting things like smartphone wallets just makes sense. Having our smartphones, credit cards and credentials all in one spot is extremely appealing to the minimalists and organizers out there.

Clothpromotions Plus Blurs the Line Between Fashion and Fitness With Function (Booth 1649)

Cloth Promotions’ Flex Fiber accessories work as well at the gym as they do on the street (or the office, or any destination really). Think items like headscarfs and bandanas—they keep you cool and dry while you’re working out, and look great for the commute back home.

Paramount Apparel Mixes Materials for a Stylish Look (Booth 2637)

You can’t go wrong with an embroidered ballcap, but throwing in things like mesh panels, sewn on patches, and other mixed materials and feels allows for more personalization and individuality. With all of the styles of the 2000s coming back strong, too, things like trucker caps are making a major comeback.

Numo Goes Above and Beyond (Booth 4525)

The Numo booth this year is less of a booth and more of a village. It’s crazy. There are so many aspects of its product offering combined into an expansive branding experience that mesmerized attendees. It was hard to fit it all into one picture, but the interior is fully decked out like an Ikea showroom, while the upper level offered views of the entire show floor.

Galaxy Balloon Has Your Beverage Covered (Booth 3362)

Whether you’re a fan of hot beverages or cold, you’ll always need a coaster, and Galaxy Balloons has you covered. These Wooden and Bamboo Coasters are perfect for keeping coffee tables, desks, or any other surfaces free from beverage marks. Plus, they’re stylish!

Hyped Up About Orbus Exhibit & Display Group (Booth 5341)

This year, Orbus had a new addition to their displays: the Hype Digital Banner. It’s USB compatible and has a slideshow feature that’s great for showing ads, bringing a high-tech digital touch to any event display.

AmeriFoam Taps Into Cannabis Mitts (Booth 1318)

As the cannabis market expands and goes more mainstream, more customers are going to be asking about cannabis-related products. AmeriFoam has a fun option for those customers in its new Hemp Mitt. (The supplier also had a selfie station set up at its booth where you could grab a foam prop and take a quick selfie!)

BAG MAKERS Inc. Has All the Bags (Booth 3825)

This year marks the 40th anniversary for Bag Makers! When walking through their booth, you’ll notice an array of bags in different materials, vibrant colors and imprint options. Check them out!
