Indianapolis-based supplier St. Regis Crystal last week announced the acquisition of Waterleaf Studios, Toronto.
“This acquisition presents tremendous opportunities for both companies,” said Richard Firkser, president and CEO of St. Regis Crystal. “Waterleaf Studios, founded in 1983, has spent 28 successful years developing its creative, innovative and technical skills. Their award-winning Cast Paper Plaques have been an industry hit for a number of years. We look forward to growing this fantastic line.”
“Waterleaf also specializes in custom framing, including certificate programs, corporate artwork, supplied medallions and memorabilia, as well as stained glass and mirrors. These recognition pieces certainly complement the St. Regis line,” added Jeff Firkser, St. Regis Crystal vice president of sales.
All Waterleaf manufacturing and shipping will be relocated to the St. Regis Crystal Canadian facility in Markham, Ontario.
“Beginning in the spring of 2012, we plan to fulfill U.S. orders from the St. Regis plant in Indianapolis, Indiana,” said Dave Kallay, general manager of Waterleaf Studios.
