While many sales other than PPE have grinded to a near stop, we’re still processing quite a few orders daily and wanted to share with everyone what it is that we still see selling. As a manufacturer of badges and nameplates and small signage, we process orders for a multitude of different markets across the country. We specialize in fulfillment programs that allow these companies to purchase badges or plates in bulk quantities, and then release them as they need to, one or two at a time. As such, we have hundreds and hundreds of these programs active, and are still placing orders. We’ve seen an uptick in several different areas and items including:
Badges for the health care market are the most obvious of items. As hospitals, clinics and doctor offices around the country are all trying to keep up, they are in great need of identification. From standard name badges to photo ID and badge buddies that reside behind their current badges, this market is very active. Using a fulfillment program for these types of clients can not only alleviate the issue of needing quick turnaround times, but also small ongoing orders as they are bringing staff on. The Badge Vault Release Program helps them lower their cost and hassle.
We’ve also seen a surge in orders from grocery stores, food service providers and restaurants. Grocery stores and food markets across the country are having a hard time keeping up with the demand and staffing. Many have brought in essential temporary help, and are going through quite a few reusable, cheaper badge solutions. We’ve also seen many drive thru restaurants staffing up to keep up with demand, and they are generally using more traditional, personalized badges for their employees. Again, the Badge Vault Release Program has been a huge help for them in keeping costs low and flexibility high.
Another area where we see badge sales rising is in the delivery service. As more and more people are using delivery services to help them obtain groceries, goods or their dinner, tags of all kinds are being ordered for the influx of drivers. Photo Identification badges have been popular among this group.
Temporary signage needs have grown in recent weeks as well. Many businesses and hospitals/clinics have a need for quick, economical and temporary sign solutions. From thin laminated plastics to thicker, more durable reverse printed acrylics, we have been busy fulfilling many of these needs.
There are a number of these commodity type items that are actively needed and being pursued by a number of businesses. We would be happy to help in educating you about our fulfillment programs, different styles of items, and all the details needed to allow you to help your clients who either do not have a good source for these items, or are paying way too much in these times.
