Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., recognized five employees as the first quarter WOW Champs during a company meeting held on March 8.
The WOW Champs are nominated by their peers for exemplifying one of Crystal D’s five core values: integrity, quality, respect, commitment, and passion. The WOW Champs are in the running to be named one of Crystal D’s 2013 Value Champions at the annual WOW Day event held in January 2014.
The first quarter WOW Champs include:

- Quality: Richard Denn
- Respect: Steve Ellis
- Commitment: Cheryl Dixon
- Passion: Kale Wallner
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the first quarter WOW Champs,” said Kit Gontarek, customer service manager for Crystal D. “It’s important to recognize their contributions and thank them for all of their hard work.”
Each WOW Champ received a certificate of recognition, personal gift and their favorite treat. Their pictures are hung on the WOW Champs Wall throughout the year for all employees to see.
