E.A. Dion, the jewelry supplier located in Attleboro, Mass., celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2013. The company began in 1968 when founder Edward Dion Sr. began to successfully produce and market jewelry from the back room of a plumbing supply store in Attleboro Falls, Mass. The company is now headquartered in its 30,000 sq. ft. facility in the Attleboro Industrial Park and employes 100 people.
The company is now run by Edward’s sons: Edward “Ted” Dion Jr., president; Dennis Dion, senior vice president of operations; and Roland Dion, director of manufacturing. Incorporated in 1975, E.A. Dion quickly developed a reputation for creativity, quality and reliability. The company continues to rely on a strong national network of independent distributors for its distribution. 2012 sales were the highest in the company’s history, exceeding $20 million. The company also has long been an important contributor to the Attleboro community, culminating in being named the 2011 Regional Chamber of Commerce Company of the Year.
