SnugZ USA, West Jordan, Utah, announced that it has appointed RaNell Lefler to the position of chief financial officer of the company effective Nov. 1, 2014. Lefler will report directly to SnugZ USA president and CEO, Brandon Mackay, and will have responsibility for the company’s financial operations.
The role of chief financial officer has been vacant since the companies previous chief financial officer retired in 2009, leaving the financial responsibilities to be managed by the company’s chief operating officer, Rosanne Webster and Lefler.
Lefler has been with SnugZ USA since 2008 and has been the financial controller since 2011. Her experience has been in various aspects of financial accounting including cost accounting, tax accounting, purchasing, payroll and forecasting and report analysis. Lefler holds a master of accounting degree from the University of Utah, a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Dixie State University, and is working on earning her certified management accountant credential.
