Chicago-based R.S. Owens announced it was proud to design and manufacture the first PPB Woman of Achievement award presented to Carol Aastad, MAS, at the Promotional Product Association International’s (PPAI) Women’s Leadership Conference held this July in Savannah, Georgia.
The custom award proudly presented a bright silver, electroplated metal star atop a twisting, hand-cast bright silver electroplated metal column. The matching bright silver base was sandblasted with Aastad’s name. The hand-fabricated star featured a pink glass center designed to represent the conference logo.
“I was honored to work with PPAI staff and volunteers to produce this award,” said Barb LaMonte, R.S. Owens’ custom award specialist. “I have attended this conference in the past, and the women there are all remarkable and inspiring. I had a personal interest in creating an award that was deserving and worthy of the thought leaders attending this conference.”
