MARCO Promotional Products Plans to Donate $26,000 Worth of Promo Items

In 2013, MARCO Promotional Products, Harrisburg, Pa., created the Difference Makers program to help nonprofit organizations in their efforts to help others. Many nonprofit groups use promotional items to create awareness, to help introduce a new service or to thank their volunteers or donors.
In 2014, MARCO donated $26,000 worth of promotional items as part of this charitable program. MARCO chose 50 organizations throughout the U.S. to receive $500 worth of imprinted promotional items that will further their cause. These groups provide crisis assistance, support our nation’s veterans, provide athletic programs for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities, empower young boys and girls, offer safe and healthy programs for youth groups, and so much more.
MARCO will continue its Difference Makers program by donating another $26,000 worth of promotional items in 2015.
“Our Difference Makers program is a reflection of the generosity that has been a part of the MARCO culture since the beginning,” said Dick Nelson, CEO of MARCO. “If a group or organization needs support and are looking for creative ways to create awareness or thank their volunteers and donors, we encourage them to send in the application form. We definitely want to help.”
Potential recipients can download an application from the MARCO website for consideration as one of the weekly recipients.
