In a move designed to provide additional resources and focus for its product and service offerings, Towels Etc., Pittsburgh, Pa., has purchased Professional Towel Mills, a division of The Magnet Group based in Abbeville, S.C. The new company will immediately begin selling under the name Pro Towels Etc.
In a statement issued on Dec. 1, Kevin Nord, president of Towels Etc., confirmed the purchase. “Pro Towels Etc. will retain its high level of international and domestic manufacturing relationships. We have effectively guaranteed Professional Towel Mills and Towels Etc. customer base access to our expanded selection of products covering various new markets through the merger of these two companies, as well as providing resources and capital to grow the new brand”, he said. “We believe the future of Pro Towels Etc. lies in the hands of our distributors. We will not take our eye off the objective of providing the best product selection, pricing and service to our valued customers.”
Pro Towels Etc. will work off of all current Professional Towel Mills’ industry identification numbers. Headquarters will remain in Pittsburgh, while production will operate from Abbeville.
Professional Towel Mills has been an industry supplier and decorator of sports, golf and beach towels for more than 20 years.
