Before going on to such memorable and award-winning films as “Snow Dogs” and “Boat Trip,” Cuba Gooding, Jr. captured America’s attention by screaming what quickly became the catch-phrase of 1996: “Show me the money!” Maybe it was the intensity of the scene, or maybe it was seeing Tom Cruise scream what everyone knew he had been thinking since “Top Gun,” but whatever the reason, the saying went on to be discussed, quoted, misquoted, parodied and ultimately canonized as a part of Americana.

And with good reason: America loves its money. From savings banks to investment firms, credit cards to credit unions, 401Ks to 1040-EZs, the financial sector has, well, a lot of money. And if the smart distributor can convince some of these organizations to share the wealth via some cost-effective promotions, then they might just have reason enough to do their best Tom Cruise impression.
