One of our favorite parts of the PPAI Expo is checking out what’s new in the promotional products space. A lot of items are variations of things we’ve seen already, but with added twists and features, and some are things we’ve never seen before. This year was no exception. Whether they’re fascinating new items or interesting spins on classics, here are six items that made us stop and think at the Expo.
1. FluidNMotion – Flowzer Beverage Insulator
Look, we don’t condone binge drinking. But, if you’re going to shotgun beers anyway, you might as well keep your hands warm and the beer cold (or warm, if that’s what you’re into). This also prevents any end-user from cutting themselves on jagged aluminum. (Which, we hear, can happen.)
2. Fujifilm USA – INSTAX 300 Wide 300 Camera
What’s old is new again, and people love the vintage look and feel of these instant cameras. They also provide that sweet instant gratification that young people love.
3. Games People Play – Prize Putt
The most important part of a golf game is putting. A 300 yard drive is worth nothing if it takes four putts to finish. This way, we can work on our short games year-round.
4. Health Emporium USA LLC – Next Bottle
It’s unreasonable to bring a water bottle, a speaker and a phone charger with you during workouts. This item brings all of those features into one compact item. The future of convenience is now!
5. Minya International Corp. – Silicone Hand Grip
Long hours typing at a computer can get to you (trust us). With this item, office dwellers can keep their hand muscles fresh and stretched out while they’re getting their work done.
6. Tucano USA Inc. – Sospendo
People love being able to go hands-free with their devices. With this, people can catch up on their favorite TV shows or read articles on their phones during workouts without having to tape the phone to the treadmill or something. (Don’t tape your phones to treadmills. It won’t work. Use something like this instead.)
