A Sneak Peek Into What’s New at BroderBros. For 2009

Trevose, Pennsylvania-based BroderBros. Co. is kicking it into high gear for 2009, adding four additional brands, over 150 new styles, as well as new brand and category catalogs.

“We are building up our assortment and keeping up with retail trends to become even more of a one-stop shop,” says Girisha Chandraraj, vice president, marketing, BroderBros. Co. “In 2008, we’ve maintained our competitive pricing and have substantially increased our inventory levels, setting the stage for continued growth and success in 2009.”

Among the featured new brands is PlayBack, which has yet to be seen in the imprintables industry. It is a sister brand to the new, high-end retail brand PurePlay. PlayBack is an eco-friendly supplier of recycled, stylish fleece products.

Other brands being added are Rossignol, Dickies Chefwear and 180 Degrees. Comfort Colors, previously carried by NES only, will now also be available through the Broder division.

Rossignol is a 100-year-old, high-end ski outerwear brand that has developed an authentically modern mountain lifestyle with apparel for both winter and summer. Dickies’ Chefwear includes aprons, hats, kitchen shirts, chef jackets and pants, making it a solid resource for the restaurant trade. 180 Degrees is new to the imprintables industry, and produces cold weather accessories.

BroderBros. is also updating all of their exclusive brands including adidas, Authentic Pigment, Chestnut Hill, Columbia, Devon & Jones, Harriton and more with new and improved styles and colors, as well as extended sizes and companions for existing styles.

BroderBros. has made it easy for customers to source these new offerings using its “Alpha Brand New” magalog, and its “Broder What’s New” pamphlet. These accompany other new catalogs including Champion, Harriton and Authentic Pigment, which enable customers to better source and sell the items.

In support of an ever-expanding eco-friendly category, BroderBros. Co. also will offer a brochure that illustrates all of its eco-friendly styles.

Custom catalog covers for its 2009 Apparel and Accessories catalogs for all divisions will be ready for customer orders by mid-July, and the catalogs are scheduled to ship in October.
