AIA Corporation, Neenah, Wis., held another of its AIA Power Meeting events, powered by Promo Marketing. The event, which matches AIA Corporation’s top affiliates with its most valuable supplier partners, was held from April 19 to 21 at the Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, Fla.
“This was a great meeting,” said David Woods, president and CEO of AIA Corporation. “Every supplier and every AIA owner that I spoke with raved about the format. The incredible quality of the one-on-one time, allowing for a real focus on individual clients and opportunities, makes this meeting unique. We will be doing another one shortly! Thank you, Promo Marketing.”
The format brought together 23 top AIA affiliates and 23 of AIA’s MVP supplier partners for 20-minute, one-on-one sessions in private supplier suites to build new business relationships, strengthen familiar contacts and generate ideas.
“It was one of the best supplier events I’ve ever been to,” said Steve Capano, senior account executive of The Augusta Group, Cincinnati. “[It had] quality suppliers, helpful colleagues and plenty of time throughout the day to catch up on the inevitable issues that seem to come up while I’m away. Great experience!”
The format allowed for all attendees to take time to learn what they can do to continue growing together, bringing a personal touch to businesses.
“AIA Power Meetings are a not-to-miss event,” said Cathy Verhage, owner of Casta Marketing Group, Minneapolis. “It’s a valuable opportunity to closely network one to one with our MVP suppliers and discuss our top clients. Our suppliers are there with a ‘what does it take?’ attitude to help us impress our clients with new ideas, virtual storyboards and specs. I’d attend every event I was invited to.”
To continue to optimize the potential business, ideas and relationships that can—and have—resulted from the event, AIA Corporation will hold another AIA Power Meeting event in Santa Fe, N.M. Oct. 26 to 28, 2016.
