A roller supplier based in Union Grove, Wis. is uniting its employees from its nine manufacturing facilities for a four-day event in Cancun, Mexico. More than 30 American Roller Co. employees and their spouses will travel south of the border next month to the all-inclusive resort Golden Parnassus where executive management as well as sales- and plant-management teams will get to know their peers at other sites and gain insight on teamwork, sales strategies and future business developments.
The meeting also will include an opportunity to share ideas and introduce the 35 new hires the company, which has been involved in the industrial roller business for 75 years, brought on board during 2013.
“While this is a large investment by the company, it is important to spend the time and money to develop our relationships internally.” its president Dan Cahalane said. “With new leadership positions being filled during this growth period, it is an exciting and perfect time to get together and build upon the momentum underway.”
