Bag Makers, Union, Ill., has named Christopher Duffy senior vice president of business development. Duffy, an industry veteran, will be responsible for setting the direction for business development initiatives consistent with the company’s overall growth strategy, as well as managing key company partnerships.
Duffy will manage Bag Makers’ relationships with a number of corporate buying groups and will represent Bag Makers as a spokesperson at key industry meetings and shows. In addition, Duffy will continue to serve customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
“Christopher has significant experience and contacts in the promotional products industry, and is an expert at developing strategies that can lead to overall company growth,” said Maribeth Sandford, president of Bag Makers. “In this new role, we will benefit from having his strategic planning capabilities and trend analysis skills focused on supporting our business development goals.”
In addition, Bag Makers announced that the following employees have taken on active marketing roles and responsibilities as members of the company’s marketing team:

The team will manage company marketing programs, including catalogs, printed marketing materials, special promotions, custom flyers, product imagery, videos and social media campaigns.
