Bankers Pen, Garfield, N.J., announced that it has finalized its purchase of Gotham Pen & Pencil, Bronx, N.Y.
The initial transaction took place in January, and shortly after acquiring Gotham Pen & Pencil, Bankers Pen began integrating its products and operations.
“We have spent the past three months integrating the operations of Gotham into our system, and this task is now almost complete,” said Richard Danziger, president of Bankers Pen, in a press release.
Currently, anyone going to Gotham Pen & Pencil’s website is redirected to the Bankers Pen site. Most of the Gotham Pen & Pencil product line already has been incorporated into the Bankers Pen site, and the final product integration is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
“We are excited by this acquisition, as it will broaden our existing offerings of USA-made and USA-assembled pens and tools,” Danziger added. “We also look forward to introducing former Gotham customers to Bankers’ diverse line of pens and products decorated with our Colorburst process, as well as to our proprietary laser-rotation process, which we offer on all our laser-engraved metal pens.”
