BIC Graphic North America, Clearwater, Fla., has donated $10,000 worth of promotional products to the Marjorie’s Hope Back to School program in support of teachers in Pasco County, Fla. This is the second year the promotional supplier has supported Marjorie’s Hope through product donations.
Marjorie’s Hope is located in New Port Richey, Fla., and provides educational supplies, toys and other necessities to students to help provide a strong foundation for learning. The organization has been helping local schools through their Back to School program for 19 years.
BIC Graphic’s most recent donation includes technology accessories, awards, health products and office supplies, among other items to recognize and show appreciation for local educators.
“Partnering with Marjorie’s Hope gives us the opportunity to show support for area teachers,” said Melissa Ralston, BIC Graphic chief marketing officer. “As a group, educators have gone above and beyond to connect with their students through the challenges presented by COVID-19, and we are thrilled to recognize their efforts with this donation.”
Marjorie’s Hope picked up the donation of nearly 3,000 items from BIC Graphic’s Clearwater location on Monday, April 20, and they are scheduled to be distributed to Pasco County schools later this year.
“Marjorie’s Hope is appreciative for our business co-partnership with BIC Graphic,” said Debi Shackowsky, founder of Marjorie’s Hope. “Because of their values, understanding and insights for classroom educators, together we are able to provide Pasco County teachers with many of the little extras that otherwise might be overlooked as cost prohibitive, but necessary items. Through this collaborative effort with BIC Graphic, we are able to put actions into words for our educators by sending the silent message [that] Pasco County educators are valued. It has truly been a pleasure to work with the executives from BIC Graphic.”
