BIC Graphic, Clearwater, Fla., continued its support of Jacksonville, Florida-based Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), and, as of May 31, has already surpassed its commitment of $100,000. The promotional products supplier guaranteed a minimum donation of $100,000 in support of its mission to honor and empower wounded warriors in 2015.
WWP, a veterans charity organization, provides 20 programs and services structured to engage injured service members and their families, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage their economic empowerment.
Upon announcing the partnership in January, BIC Graphic made a donation of $50,000 to WWP. BIC Graphic is also donating $2 for each order of select BIC Graphic products. Thus far, BIC Graphic has raised $60,012 in proceeds through the end of May 2015, bringing the total to date to $110,012.
In a separate initiative, BIC Graphic conducted an internal fundraising drive and its employees have pledged $20,000 to WWP in 2015.
“The cause-marketing campaign continues to gain momentum as the year progresses and we thank our partners for their continued support,” said Emmanuel Bruno, vice president and general manager, BIC Graphic North America. “We are also overwhelmed by the generosity of our own employees in supporting this worthy cause.”
