Broder Bros. Co. introduced over 250 new products last week during their Selling What Sells Live On Tour educational series. The Tour, which is a live presentation of their successful guide to selling the best in imprintable apparel, attracted over 1,400 attendees in 15 cities across the country.
“The customer turnout and feedback on this tour was unbelievable,” said Chris Blakeslee, senior vice president of sales for Broder Bros. “Our 2013 product launch is the largest in our history, so the timing was perfect and customers were very excited about going out to show the new items. Selling What Sells Live on Tour is really becoming the place for customers to hone their selling skills while also getting a jump on next year.”
Broder’s new product assortment includes three well-known, highly regarded retail brands: Russell Athletic, New Balance and FUL Bags. Russell, the leading provider of team uniforms at the high school and college level, will offer basic and performance inspired T-shirts, fleece, shorts, polos and warm-ups. New Balance, the number-one brand name in footwear and training apparel designed for runners, will now offer the promotional products industry their Ndurance line of 100 percent polyester performance T-shirts in 12 silhouettes for men, women and youth. FUL Bags, the leader in technical performance bag systems with a fashion edge, will be offered in 21 styles of backpacks, duffels and messenger bags.
In addition, Broder has expanded to full-line offerings from fashion fitness brand Alo and environmental champion econscious for the coming year. They also have made substantial additions to their outerwear offering in two of their best-selling private label lines, Devon & Jones and Harriton.
