See? Safety and quality issues affect everyone, even popular designers. Just recently, the Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled more than 3,000 pairs of Charles David shoes. Why? Reports that a heel detached, resulting in some bruising for an unlucky customer. I don’t quite understand why this is such a big deal; my heels detach all the time (I treat my shoes with disrespect, I admit). But in any case, there you go. Feel a little better?
