The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced that Westerville, Ohio-based Cheryl & Co. is recalling its Jingle Bell Ornaments with Cookies and Confections due to laceration hazard. The ornament’s decorative cutouts have sharp metal edges, which could cut customers.

The round ornaments, which include 64 cookies and confections, are approximately 4″ in diameter, feature four snowflake cutouts and come in a set of eight units per box. They were only available through QVC televised shopping programs and online at QVC.com from November 2015 to December 2015.

QVC has received 140 reports of customers who cut their fingers while handling the ornaments, including four customers who needed stitches.

The CPSC report indicated that customers should immediately stop using the ornaments, and return them to QVC for full refunds.
