Many athletes have items to remember their glory days. The lucky ones have items, such as rings, to commemorate championship seasons. Players at Northwestern University and the University of Tennessee can look forward to Fossil watches, a commemorative Jostens rings and baseball caps atthe Outback Bowl.
Central Michigan University and the University of Minnesota players competing in the Quick Lane Bowl can remember exactly what they looked like at this time in their lives with a life-sized decal of themselves.
Chik-fil-A will reward players in its Peach Bowl with a commemorative football.
Continuing the trend of electronics gifts, many bowl game sponsors are giving players some high-end items.
Players in the Miami Beach Bowl, GoDaddy Bowl, Gildan New Mexico Bowl, Popeyes Bahamas Bowl and Chik-fil-A Peach Bowl all will receive portable speakers.
The Valero Alamo Bowl sponsors will reward players with Beats headphones, and the Quick Lane Bowl will give out JBL headphones.
And, lest we forget, these athletes are still college kids, so video games are appreciated. The Military Bowl presented by Nortrop Grumman will award the players at the University of Pittsburgh and U.S. Naval Academy Microsoft Xbox One with Kinect bundles.
