Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., has recently been given e-PSA certification—a designation that provides the company with automated electronic exchanges in order information and business processes. E-PSA certification assures that Crystal D’s documents have been tested by e-PSA Labs against the most current e-PSA standards. This reduces the initial testing time between the company and its customers and also maintains a high level of acceptance and expectancy of PIP documents.
Crystal D customers also benefit from the certification as they will receive regular and timely receipt of order status information, shipping notices and invoices. Also, every file is formatted in exactly the same way, which means less time on paperwork as well as daily order status notification.
“Crystal D is honored to receive this certification,” said Chuck Dahlgren, president. “Not only will we, as a supplier, be able to work more efficiently, but we allow our customers to work more efficiently as well, resulting in incredible customer service.”
e-PSA Standards were established by industry firms who felt the inefficiencies of current fax, mail and e-mail trading of incomplete and random order information was costly to their firms’ bottom line. Therefore, the RosettaNet standards, used globally today, were adopted and implemented to improve efficiencies in the exchange of order information, as well as reduce friction and unnecessary overhead.
