Crystal D Employees On Track to Becoming Industry’s First Certified Recognition Professionals

Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., recently announced that four of its employees have passed two of the four required courses to receive the National Association for Employee Recognition (NAER) Certified Recognition Professional (CRP) designation. The next courses in the curriculum will be offered in Savannah, Ga., as part of NAER’s 10th Annual Conference, slated for April 2007.

Chuck Dahlgren, president; Laura Jendersee, marketing manager; Debbe Kjellsen, business development; and Bridget Dahlgren, business development, passed the first two courses required to become Certified Recognition Professionals.

“NAER’s Certified Recognition Professional courses are integral to the industry,” noted Chuck Dahlgren. “Crystal D is the first supplier in the industry to work toward this designation, which will help us educate our customers on employee recognition, from strategy to measurement.”

The first two courses, Structuring Recognition Programs For Success and Strategic Planning and Measurement, focused on the importance of a recognition strategy within an organization and how to build, implement and measure an organization’s employee recognition program.

The NAER CRP designation is made up of four facilitator-led courses. Certified Recognition Professionals have practical, strategic and performance-enhancing knowledge that will add value to an organization’s recognition program.
