Facilisgroup has left its mark on Nashville, Tennessee—the site of its recent Partner Summit—in the form of a $12,320 donation split between two organizations dedicated to helping youth in the community.
As part of its Facilis Cares initiative, Facilisgroup is committed to making a positive impact on any community they visit. The recent Partner Summit in Nashville proved to be the first opportunity for Facilisgroup to make such an impact in over 18 months, so excitement for the initiative was at an all-time high.
“Our community has always been second to none,” said Ashley McCune, president of Facilisgroup. “But when our distributor and supplier partners come together for a greater purpose, it’s truly inspiring. We’re harnessing the power of our amazing community to make a difference in people’s lives, and it’s so uplifting to see.”
That same sentiment was echoed by the members of the Facilisgroup community as well.
“It’s all about love, and I can’t think of a better way to show that during our brief visit than bringing a smile to these brave children of Nashville,” said Alf Rhea, president of Business Innovations. “Great job, Facilisgroup, for going to Nashville and giving, not just taking!”
The two organizations benefiting from the initiative are both dedicated to children in the Nashville community. The Gabe’s Chemo Duck program supports children and families living with cancer, while the United Way of Greater Nashville’s Stuff the Bus program provides essential school supplies to students in need.
Facilisgroup offered a donation match to what was contributed by its partner community, leading to a final donation amount of $12,320. A figure that goes a long way in fulfilling a long-standing mission of Facilis Cares.
“We said we wanted to leave Nashville just a little bit better than we found it. The generosity of our community absolutely made that a reality,” added McCune.
