Now in its 21st year of operation, RMK Worldwide, Deerfield Beach, Fla., has launched a new line of stress relievers with family in mind. The fully-customized DLK line was named in honor of the owners’ first child, six-month old Dylan Lexi Knobel, who was born on February 7.
According to Robert Knobel, president/owner, the DLK line will be introduced in a number of series, with the first containing automotive-related stress reliever keychains. “The line will contain a variety of unique merchandise, such as exotic cars, cell phone holders, boats, planes, gum ball machines and piggy banks,” he said.
While the company has been very successful with stress relievers, Knobel said he wanted to provide customers with a better product. “The majority of our customers that purchase stress relievers use them for trade show giveaways,” he explained. “We asked them what they’d like to see the products in, and many of them said they were interested in desktop items or something useful that could fit into their customers’ pockets. That’s how the idea for the line was generated.”
Knobel said a new series of stress relievers will be introduced every three months, with the first automotive keychains available for shipment during the second week of September. The second series, cell phone holders, is scheduled to launch in October and will be available for shipment at the end of the month.
Besides DLK line’s intended use, Knobel said he and his wife, Dawn Knobel, vice-president/owner, decided to add further value to it. “A percentage of all the proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” he said. “We’ve written a letter to the foundation, and will decide on the percentage when the series is officially launched.”
“It’s a good line that offers something different, inexpensive and functional,” concluded Knobel.
