Remember Vince Young? The hotshot former University of Texas quarterback who cursed the Philadelphia Eagles to extended mediocrity thanks to his “dream team” comments, and eventually faded into the obscurity of Canadian Football as a sort of football version of Kenny Powers from “Eastbound and Down?” We do. (And it’s not just because of our Philadelphia bias.)

(Editor’s note: It’s entirely because of our Philadelphia bias.)

Young seems pretty aware of his downward trajectory, too, and is using it to his advantage in a way. In the hopes of mounting a comeback with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (and making a few extra bucks by hitching his wagon to the political zeitgeist), Young is hoping to trademark the phrase “Make Vince Young Great Again,” according to Sports Illustrated.

If successful, one could assume that Young would use his trademark to sling caps, likely modeled after Donald Trump’s now-iconic MAGA caps.

Where do we draw the line and say that something is too similar? How many trademarks can there be for “Make [noun] Great Again?”
