Halls & Company, the Brooklyn Park, Minnesota-based manufacturer of ID Line, has announced that it has hired Colin Johnson as its digital marketing specialist. Johnson is the grandson of the company’s founder, Chris Johnson.

Johnson graduated from St. Cloud State University with his Bachelor of Science in marketing. His tasks at Halls & Company will include managing the company’s social media accounts, revamping the current ID Line website, analyzing data and attending trade shows.

“I think it’s great having Colin with us,” Chris Johnson said. “It’s the third generation, and a lot of companies never get that far. We’re doing well to get into the second, and now we’re into the third. Colin does very well, and I think it will be fantastic to see him do more.”

He’ll be a great asset. I am excited and nervous all at the same time to have Colin join in our company. I know his energy and talent will have a positive effect on many areas of the company.”

“Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to get my feet wet with the company by doing part-time social media and other marketing work while going to school,” Colin Johnson said. “I’m excited to be taking on more responsibilities at the company in the marketing department.”
