HPG Launches New Exclusive Partnerships With Nomatic and Pladra

HPG, Braintree, Mass., announced two new exclusive partnerships with consumer brands Nomatic, Sandy, Utah; and Pladra, San Francisco. HPG will be the first to offer promo-industry access to the two award-winning retail brands under the HPG Exclusive line launched in February 2021. Nomatic and Pladra styles will be available at one-piece minimums with 48-hour production times, and every order will include an optional gift message.

“Through our HPG Exclusive line, we’re only interested in offering the best-in-class brands that break the mold of what’s expected from a corporate gift perspective,” said Jason Lucash, chief development officer for HPG. “Both Nomatic and Pladra offer that experience and represent a modern standard of feature-rich gear that is really a cut above anything else out there. These aren’t your typical flannel shirts or travel bags—we’re talking about products that have been designed within an inch of their life with only the best materials and craftsmanship. We’re especially excited to offer Nomatic in both the U.S. and Canada, the first partnership to be available cross-border.”

With roots in Sandy, Utah, Nomatic makes the “most functional gear ever,” designed to inspire confidence for life on the move. Nomatic was born in 2014, when founders (and cousins) Jon Richards and Jacob Durham launched an innovative travel wallet through Kickstarter. The brand was an immediate success, and has since grown a cult-like following with its feature-rich travel products that prioritize quality and function.

“We’re so excited to bring Nomatic to a new market, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with HPG in doing so,” Todd Switzler, director of sales for Nomatic, said. “Nomatic and HPG are aligned in our passionate desire to bring game-changing products to the market. Innovation is at the core of all we do, and we’re looking forward to entering the promo space with a like-minded partner.”

Nomatic’s offering through HPG Exclusive will include a range of items from the Navigator and Original Travel series, including backpacks, carry-on luggage, travel packs and functional accessories. Nomatic gear will be offered through the HPG Exclusive line in the U.S. and through HPG’s Debco line in the Canadian market.

California-based Pladra specializes in crafting durable, functional and stylish flannel shirts designed to seamlessly transition from outdoor activities to everyday wear. The brand was born when the Pladra team recognized the need to develop high-quality, field-ready apparel with a unique sense of style.

Crafted by hand in San Francisco, Pladra’s machine-washable shirts are constructed with 100% cotton flannel and feature unexpected design surprises, like outdoor scene liners on the cuffs, collar and back yoke that are unique to each print.

“We founded Pladra because we are passionate about the outdoors, and we wanted to create the absolute perfect flannel shirt for our lifestyle—one that combines the durability and craftsmanship of the classic flannel silhouette with a more modern fit and unique plaid patterns,” said Jeff Ladra, founder and CEO of Pladra. “We are incredibly excited to offer our line of men’s and women’s functional and versatile shirts to a new market through our partnership with HPG.”

Available in both men’s and women’s styles in sizes XS-3XL, Pladra’s initial offerings through HPG Exclusive will include options from the Every Day, Sequoia and Cascade lines.

Pladra products are now available at hpgbrands.com/pladra and Nomatic products are available at hpgbrands.com/nomatic.
