Hub Pen Company, Braintree, Mass., recognized multi-line sales representative Scott Blankenship for his service to the company and industry.
Scott Blankenship joined Hub Pen Company as a multi-line sales rep in early 2011, representing North Texas. In 2014, he started representing the company in Oklahoma as well. Blankenship was born in California, but has lived in the Dallas area for more than 40 years. He started in the promotional products business in 1996 with HWA Sales, and has have received several recognition awards over the years: Sales Rep of the year for Ash City, Sales Rep of the Year for OGIO and Independent Sales Rep of the Year for Charles River Apparel.
“Hub Pen has been a great company to represent over the years,” Blankenship said. “They provide a quality product, huge inventory levels and support for their reps. [I] never thought I would be a pen salesman, but I love every minute of it. My experience with Beacon has been great the last few months. I only hear good things about Beacon and have learned a lot from my customers, especially regarding the calendars and badges. My younger customers look at me like I have two heads when I talk about calendars, but my older customers are thinking about how many they can sell! Now, starting August 1, we are also selling their Canyon Leather line, which should go over really well down here in the south.”
