Unlike the Cleveland Indians apparel that heralded them as 2016 World Series Champions, apparel celebrating Hillary Clinton’s theoretical campaign victory could end up as collectors items, some experts say.

According to Fox 5, Jim Warlick, owner of White House Gifts, said that Clinton merchandise still is popular. He’s been selling T-shirts, socks, drinkware, dinner bells and more with the phrase “She did it!” and the 2017 inauguration date at a discounted price.

“The Hillary Clinton stuff will be collector’s items,” Warlick said. “And America when they misprint a currency, it’s worth more. When [George] McGovern chose [Thomas] Eagleton and dropped Eagleton off the ticket in 1972, they already printed McGovern-Eagleton buttons. Those were far more valuable than the regular buttons anyway. Only in America can you bring in something that’s different and it can become a collectible.”

He added that, even in the last stages of his presidency, Obama merchandise is a favorite of international customers.

“Probably 30 percent of our customers are from overseas,” Warlick told Fox 5. “They love Obama. They will buy anything we have.”

While you’d think he’s referring to President Obama, Warlick said that First Lady Michelle Obama is the favorite of customers overseas.

“We realized Michelle was more popular, so we brought in a legacy line for her, and she is actually outselling him now,” Warlick said.

On the other side of the political spectrum, Warlick said that Trump merchandise is still popular with customers as his inauguration date nears.

“He’s doing very well,” Warlick told Fox 5. “It started this weekend, so I think people are finally realizing he’s going to be the next president.”
