Pittsburgh-based Leed’s, a member of Polyconcept North America, the second largest supplier within the promotional products industry, hired a director of product development and a business development representative to further enhance its product development process, customer service and sales teams. The company believes the added roles will elevate existing efforts to maintain and grow Leed’s position as a product innovator and service-oriented industry leader.
By filling the role of director of product development, Michele Petruccelli became the newest member of the Leed’s senior leadership team. Petruccelli joined Leed’s on May 5 and is responsible for the strategic direction of product development and design, coordinating with Leed’s supply chain and aligning with sales and marketing.
“Further improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Leed’s product development initiatives and finding new ways to grow the business through existing categories and through the expansion of our retail and Leed’s brands are two initiatives I’m excited about driving,” explained Petruccelli. Petruccelli comes to Leed’s following ten years at GlaxoSmithKlein where she held management positions in global innovation, brand management/marketing and new product development.
On July 2 Luis Arribasplata started at Leed’s as the business development representative to handle Quebec from Leed’s Toronto office. Fluent in French, as well as English and Spanish, and with an extensive background in customer service and sales, Arribasplata will be an asset to Leed’s and its French-speaking customers. Following several weeks of training in Pittsburgh, Luis will begin serving his customers in early August, providing them with catalog quantity quotes, project ideas, case histories, custom projects and proactive inquiries.
