Leed’s Launches Fan Page on Facebook, Tweets on Leadership

New Kensington, Pennsylvania-based Leed’s, a member of Polyconcept North America, the second largest supplier within the promotional products industry, announced it launched a fan page on social networking site Facebook and created an account on Twitter. Leed’s Twitter followers will get weekly “tweets” from three members of Leed’s executive team: David Nicholson, president; Jeff Brown, chief marketing officer; and Craig Morantz, vice president of sales.

Distributors who become fans of Leed’s on Facebook will receive updates on current promotions, sales tools, product application ideas and invitations to Leed’s Webinars. In addition, when fans post a “product spotting” photo with a caption about where the product was seen, Leed’s will make a donation to American Forests to plant a tree in a North American planting project.

“We are excited to join the Web 2.0 movement to connect with our distributor partners in such a dynamic way,” said Melissa Lehman, marketing communications specialist. “We’re particularly looking forward to seeing what our fans have to share with us on Facebook and to have our leaders be able to share their thoughts so directly with our distributor base through Twitter.”
