Magellan Promotions, Wauwotosa, Wisc., acquired Incentive Gallery, also based in Wauwatosa. According to Milwaukee Business News, the transaction was completed on April 3.
Magellan Promotions specializes in the college market, providing items like pens, notebooks and beverage coolers to universities nationwide.
Through the transaction, Magellan Promotions, which has six employees, will gain about 80 new clients to its list of around 700. Also, Linda McCabe, founder of Incentive Gallery, will consult with Magellan for approximately a year before her retirement.
“Linda’s been in the industry for 21 years,” Michael Wolaver, owner of Magellan Promotions, told Milwaukee Business News. “I’ve known her for over a year-and-a-half. From everyone I’ve talked to in the industry, she ran her business the right way. Her business, she operated very similar to us.”
