“Vision 2020 — The Future Is Now” is the theme for the third annual Michigan Leadership Conference, presented by the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) on April 20 and 21. The two-day conference brings the power of a national conference to the regional community. The conference will be held at the Inn at Harbor Shores on Lake Michigan in the resort town of St. Joseph, Mich.
The conference opens with Heath Slawner, an Igniter with the Simon Sinek Organization providing an afternoon of discovery of purpose. Attendees will be able to articulate their “Why” and apply purpose to every aspect of their life and organizations. The session is followed by a cocktail reception and dinner on historic Silver Beach. The pavilion includes a 1920s carousel and an experience with the past as the group explores the future.
The second day of the conference explores Trendspotting with Ira Neaman, founder and CEO of Vantage Apparel and PPAI chair of the board. Catherine Graham, CEO of commonsku, discusses AI and Technologies That Will Transform Our Industry. Dale Denham, chief information officer at Geiger, will deliver Hybrid Selling — Combining Traditional Skills with Technology Tools. Paul Bellantone, CEO and president of PPAI, will discuss how to transition from a Transactional to Relational Organization. All of these great presentations will be accompanied by round-table group discussions and group discoveries.
Industry sponsorships and support make it possible for MiPPA to deliver this level of conference for just $550 for MiPPA, PPAI or other regional association members, and $650 for non-members, including meals and evening event. The resort hotel is just $129 a night for conference attendees. The Platinum Sponsor for the Event is Edwards Garment, with additional Gold level support from BIC Graphic and PCNA, and Silver Sponsorships from Gemline and Hit Promotional Products. Geiger is the Bronze Sponsor and the round tables are sponsored by SanMar, Vantage, CapAmerica, HPG, Goldstar, Cutter & Buck and PPAI.
In order to maximize the networking and open discussions at this conference, registration is limited to a maximum of 75. Registration is open here.
