NYPD Confiscates Rapper’s SUV-Mounted T-shirt Cannon

Look, the rapper Warchyld just wanted to drive around New York City in his branded Hummer SUV complete with gigantic T-shirt cannon on top. Is that such a crime? The NYPD thought so, and pulled Warchyld over last month as he drove through Midtown Manhattan.

The driver, Christopher Stoney, reportedly did not commit any crimes, but the NYPD took issue with the “scary-looking” gun on top.

We get it. Those T-shirt cannons have a checkered past. Heck, the Queensland police has them classified as weapons. But, they’re also extremely awesome and, for our money, one of the most efficient T-shirt delivery systems.

Stoney has had the T-shirt cannon on top of his promotional ride since 2019, according to BroBible, but Warchyld posted on social media that the cops were confiscating it.

“I’m sorry to say, but the NYPD is about to confiscate my cannon off my truck,” he said. “This [expletive] is crazy right now, man. They’re taking it.”

So, you know, RIP Warchyld’s T-shirt cannon. The authorities might not recognize its promotional power, but we at Promo Marketing do.
