Our 5 Favorite Promotional Products of the Week: George Harrison Gnomes, Team USA Gear and More

Some of us are at the age where it feels like there’s a wedding every other week. Or, literally, every week in some cases. And, it has us thinking about some of the wedding promos we’ve seen. We’re not just talking about the whole Dunkin’ wedding line, though it is cool if you’re into that sort of thing.

We’re talking about things like a can cooler with the couple’s name on it, maybe a wine glass with the date on it. But, we also thought about some room for improvement, and maybe some more out-there ideas.

How ’bout branded mini rugs that say “thanks for cutting a rug at [couple’s] wedding!” or a T-shirt that says “I watched [name] and [name] commit themselves to each other for all of eternity and all I got was this lousy, tear-soaked T-shirt.”

Thoughts? While you ruminate, check out some of our favorite promotional products from this week.

1. Superchewer NBA Box for Dogs

Is your dog a huge Lakers fan? That’s a bummer for him, but he can at least enjoy some branded toys and doggie apparel with this subscription box.

2. USA Skateboarding T-shirt

This year will be the first time that skateboarding is included in the Olympics. Team USA partnered with artist Henry Jones for a design that celebrated skateboarding’s rebellious past and Olympian future.

3. DC Spurs Pride Month T-shirt

Brendan here spends his precious weekend mornings in misery watching Tottenham Hotspur FC—a team he finds increasingly hard to be proud of. But, the DC fan group made some Pride Month-themed shirts, so there’s at least one good thing to look at with the Spurs badge on it.

4. George Harrison Gnomes

The 50th anniversary of George Harrison’s solo album “All Things Must Pass” includes replicas of the little gnomes on the cover, as well as a little figurine of Harrison sitting among them.

5. Nike’s ‘Space Jam’ Merchandise

We’ll probably have more on this later, but we need to at least acknowledge Nike’s first “Space Jam: A New Legacy” drop. There will be plenty more where this came from, we’re certain.
