Our 5 Favorite Promotional Products of the Week: KFC Lipstick, LEGO Nintendos and More

Remember how excited we were about Major League Baseball being back? Hope everyone else is having fun, because we haven’t been able to watch our Phillies much since their games keep getting postponed. Ah, well. They usually find a way to break our hearts, so this is just a new way to do it.

In the meantime, we’ve been occupying ourselves by keeping up with some fun branded and promotional items, and we have quite a haul for you this week.

1. Lego x Nintendo NES System

OK, all of this is incredible. This really ticks multiple boxes for us. This 2,646 piece set includes a TV that moves to make Mario run and jump on the screen. There’s even space for a LEGO NES cartridge for added realness. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) it’s out of stock.

2.Jinxed x HEAVYSLIME Tote Bag

Being in Philly, it was inevitable we’d come across this one. Jinxed, a variety store with different locations around the city, just announced its Jinxed x HEAVYSLIME tote bag is back in stock online. While you can’t currently use your tote bag for in-store shopping at Jinxed (hopefully one day soon), you can still use it for weekly grocery or shopping trips. Plus, the design on the tote is perfect for the upcoming fall season.

3. Run for Cover Records Rebranded Merch

There’s nothing like a logo rebrand to inject some new life into a brand. Run for Cover Records, a Boston record label, just announced a clean new logo and look, and threw up a fresh batch of merchandise to celebrate.

4. KFC Hot Wings-Flavored Lipstick

First Crocs, now a hot wings-flavored lipstick. Fans of KFC can officially eat their fried chicken and wear it too. The “Bucket Red No. 11,” as KFC is calling it, isn’t available in stores. Instead, you can register for KFC’s “Colonel Club” to be entered into a drawing for the lipstick, which will go to 400 winners.

5. Igloo Throwback Line

This is more retail, but coolers are big in promo so let’s just go with it. The ‘90s really nailed color schemes and bright aesthetics. Sure, there were some missteps in ‘90s design, but this neon colorway is a hit even decades later. OK, now we feel old.
