Our 5 Favorite Promotional Products of the Week: ‘Swamp Scent,’ Philly Sports Promos and More

Does everyone have their Valentine’s Day gifts ready? If not, you’re in the right industry. Chances are good that you know somebody who can hook you up with some chocolates or a stuffed animal pretty quickly. Heck, we bet you could even ask them to put someone’s name on the gift, too.

Not a bad place to be, is it?

We’re not focusing on Valentine’s Day in this roundup of our favorite promotional products of the week, but we still have some good stuff to share. It’s our Valentine’s gift to you.

1. Philadelphia Union Apparel Collection

Fun fact about the Philadelphia Union: Its mascot, Phang, is a snake with arms and legs because he got zapped by lightning Ben Franklin-style while wishing he could play soccer. That’s 100% true. Look it up. So, it’s about time the Union implemented lightning onto its uniforms and, by extension, apparel.

2. Budweiser x 76ers Cans

While we’re on the topic of Philly sports, how about these Sixers cans? It’s easy for Budweiser to do, since it pairs so flawlessly with their color scheme. It’s just too bad we can’t buy one or two of these in the Wells Fargo Center right now while watching a game.

3. Taco Bell Puzzle

This puzzle is creative and colorful. But, it might as well just say, “Congratulations. You are now hungry for a Crunchwrap Supreme,” because that’s all we’d want by the time we finished it.

4. ‘Shrek 2’ ‘Swamp Scent’

Did you watch “Shrek” and think, “Man, I bet that disgusting ogre smells awesome, despite so much evidence to the contrary?” If so, this is the item for you. It even comes with two figurines to play with, because no one else will want to.

5. ‘Armageddon’ Asteroid Candy

There was a stretch in the ‘90s where kids wanted candy and/or toys hidden inside larger pieces of chocolate. I remember it vividly. What I don’t remember is the scene in “Armageddon” where Bruce Willis stays to blow up the asteroid and candy rains down from the sky while Aerosmith’s “I don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” played.
