Our 5 Favorite Promotional Products of the Week: Yelp Review Tees, Throwback Bobbleheads and More

Happy first week of summer, everyone! We saw last night that Major League Baseball is set to come back, so that’s all the good news we need for weeks. While we’re going to touch on baseball a little bit for this week’s Fave 5, there’s plenty of other fun from around the promotional products world.

1. FOCO’s Chicago Bulls Bobbleheads

We came to appreciate the dominance of the ’90s Chicago Bulls thanks to the April and May airings of “The Last Dance” documentary. Merch is always a wonderful reminder of greatness, so FOCO is selling four bobbleheads featuring legends Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, with the goods to ship in late September.

2. Frightened Rabbit x Bands FC Shirt

Bands FC has been turning band logos into soccer (or “football”) crests for a while now, and it’s been really fun to see how creative they get. This collaboration goes a step further by making an actual shirt, with proceeds benefiting Tiny Changes, an organization set up in memory of Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison, who passed away in 2018.

3. Baltimore Orioles’ Colorectal Cancer Alliance T-shirt

Team MVP Trey Mancini learned in March that he has Stage III colon cancer, so the Baltimore Orioles are supporting the slugger’s recovery and that of other afflicted individuals by sending proceeds from their #F16HT T-shirt sales to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. The hashtagged item takes its name from the number Mancini dons for the O’s.

4. Middle Child’s Yelp Review T-shirt

If you live in or near Philadelphia and haven’t gotten a sandwich from Middle Child yet, fix that immediately. It is the truth. What isn’t the truth is this Yelp review someone left for the restaurant, which made a bunch of claims about roaches being on the floor (which is obviously not the case because no one is allowed in the restaurant right now) and that the coffee was cold (they only sell iced coffee). To stick it to “Larry E.,” the restaurant immortalized his rant, with proceeds benefiting the Morris Home recovery program in Philadelphia.

5. Thisisneverthat and Pokémon AirPods Case

Of course we had to check out the AirPods case that was recently released as part of the thisisneverthat and Pokémon collab. According to a Hypebeast article, this collection (which includes much more than just the AirPods case) will be available as a Korea-exclusive on the thisisneverthat website starting June 23.
