Paula Shulman, CAS, vice president of sales, celebrated her 30th anniversary with Prime Line, headquartered in Bridgeport, Conn., at the company’s annual summer picnic on August 10.
Shulman received ASI’s 2008 Supplier Woman of Distinction award, was president of SAAGNY in 2011 and is a member of Counselor Magazine’s 2011 Power 50 List. She recently attended PPAI’s Women’s Leadership Conference and participated in a panel with other industry leaders who shared how they got to where they are, how to move ahead and insights into achieving professional and personal success.
In 1982, Shulman was one of the first executive managers hired by the Prime Line. She rose up the ranks at the company, holding the positions of customer service manager, director of marketing and national sales manager before ascending to vice president of sales in 2007.
“Paula has been a guiding force in helping to make Prime Line a ‘Top 40’ supplier and the industry leader it is today,” said Bob Lederer, founder and chairman of Prime Line. “Her impact is felt in most every department including customer service, marketing and office administration.”
Prime Line is a family-owned business with 450 employees including 25 who have been with the company for 15 or more years; 46 with a tenure of 10 or more years; and 87 with five or more years.
