Douglas Company Inc., Keene, N.H., is recalling one of its plush stuffed animals due to a choking hazard. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that the recall includes the company’s Oliver the Bear, Chewie the English Bulldog and Charlotte the Fox plush toys.

The toys were sold in toy and gift stores across the country, and were distributed by UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation to individuals and organizations from July 2014 to April 2017.

The CPSC reported that the plastic eyes on the toys can detach, which poses a choking hazard. The CPSC reported that two people have reported plastic eyes detaching or loosening, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately take the toys away from young children, and contact Douglas Company Inc. for a replacement product or full refund.
