PPAI’s Presidents’ Forum is Renamed, Relaunched with Broader Outlook

In its 20th year, Irving, Texas-based Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) Presidents’ Forum is taking on a new name and new partners. It will be known as the North American Leadership Conference (NALC), co-hosted by Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) and La Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales de la Promoción A.C. (AMPPRO). The conference will be held August 23 to 25, 2009 at the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Chicago.

Once offered only to company presidents, this year’s conference is open to all industry executives and decision makers and promises to deliver a fresh approach to addressing the most relevant and top-of-mind business issues currently faced by the promotional products industry.

Featured speakers include:
-Alan Beaulieu, a senior analyst, economist and principal at the Institute for Trend Research, who will present the general session “Economic Climate and Trends.”

-Charley Johnson, CAS, and Brandon Mackay, MAS, of Salt Lake City, Utah-based supplier SnugZ USA, who will present “Chemistry: The New Leader” as part of the special track for emerging leaders.

-Larry Johnson, CSP, professional speaker and co-author of Absolute Honesty: Building A Corporate Culture That Values Straight Talk and Rewards Integrity will lead the breakout session “Leading Change-REINVENTING.”

–Giovanni Gallucci, a social media guru, will present a general session titled, “EXTREME Social Media Marketing,” as well as two other breakout sessions.
