Prime Resources, Bridgeport, Conn., recently honored 27 long-time employees at its annual Service Awards ceremony. Four employees received 20-year awards and the remaining received five-year recognition. Across the company, there are 62 employees with 10, 15 or 20 years of service.
Family owned and operated, the 27-year old company has evolved from a two-person business into one with 420 employees. “It gives me great pleasure to recognize the strong commitment and loyalty we have in the Prime family,” said Bob Lederer, chairman and founder. Paula Shulman, vice president of sales and Jerry Russo, vice president of operations recently celebrated their 25th company anniversaries.
In other news, Prime Line’s Light ‘n Whistle Key Tags were distributed to local children in the savannahs of Botswana in southern Africa via Karen Hirsch, account executive at Freestyle Marketing, a national distributor of promotional products based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
“I had all of these whistle lights in my pocket,” she said. “They were so excited to get them.”
