Philadelphia-based Promo Marketing magazine, the source of product and marketing information for distributor sales professionals, has announced the finalists for the 2014 Supplier Excellence Awards.
The Excellence Awards are the industry’s objective standard for supplier achievement, naming winners in 40 categories in a wide range of promotional products and apparel.
“We are excited to produce the Supplier Excellence Awards each year,” said Nichole Stella, group president and publishing director of Promo Marketing. “It is a great opportunity for the industry’s top distributors to share with us their unbiased opinion as to who the ‘best-in-class’ suppliers are across the most popular categories.”
Promo Marketing staff, along with a panel of top-tier distributors from distributor companies across the country, went through thousands of qualified suppliers to narrow down the best of the best in each category. This year, we separated the apparel categories into their own STYLE Excellence Awards and added Signs & Banners to the hard goods categories. In addition to separating the categories, we limited the number of finalists per category to eight and limited suppliers to only their top categories-up to three in the Supplier Excellence Awards and three in the STYLE Excellence Awards.
Voting in the 2014 Excellence Awards is open now and will continue through Thursday, June 6. The winners—the top three companies in each category—and the finalists will be featured in the July issue of Promo Marketing. In addition to the Supplier Excellence Awards winners chosen by Promo Marketing’s readers, the July issue will also feature the Top 50 Suppliers list, representing the largest and highest-grossing supplier companies working today.
Not only will voters shape the definitive list of the industry’s most respected companies, qualified distributors who participate in Promo Marketing’s 2014 Excellence Awards will also be entered into a contest to win a $150 American Express gift card.
