Promo Marketing, the leading source of product and marketing information for distributor sales professionals, today announced the appointment of Nichole Stella as group president/publishing director, Kyle Richardson as editor-in-chief and Meghan DeFrancesco as vice president/publisher.
Nichole Stella has been with Promo Marketing and its sister publication Print+Promo since 2005, starting as the editor-in-chief before becoming the editorial director and vice president of the group. As group president, she will continue her leadership over all Promo Marketing Media Group products, including Promo Marketing and Print+Promo magazines.
“I am proud to be a part of such a strong brand and look forward to leading our knowledgeable team of sales, marketing and editorial professionals into a bright future,” Stella said. “We work in a vibrant and ever-changing industry, and Promo Marketing will continue to be at the forefront of product and service development, as well as educating the market on best practices, latest products and the newest technologies.”
Stella will continue to work closely with the industry’s top suppliers, distributors and associations to develop and deliver second-to-none marketing services and solutions. She takes over the role of Dave Leskusky, who has accepted the position of president of North American Publishing Company, parent of Promo Marketing and Print+Promo.
Kyle Richardson will assume Stella’s former responsibilities as editor-in-chief of Promo Marketing and its sister publication, Print+Promo. Richardson joined Promo Marketing in 2006, managing production of the magazine, its supplements, the daily Headlines newsletter and various special projects. He will be responsible for guiding the editorial team and overseeing all print and online coverage.
“Our team has been working for years to bring the best reviews and stories to our readers, and it’s an honor to be given the chance to further develop our voice,” Richardson said. “It’s an exciting time to be in publishing, and I’m lucky to be working in an industry as fun and full of character as this.”
Meghan DeFrancesco will take over the role of publisher for Promo Marketing. She has been involved with account management for the company since 2005 and has strong relationships with many of the largest accounts in the industry. In addition to her role as publisher, DeFrancesco will continue to oversee the successful Promo Marketing Power Meetings.
“I’m excited about the talent and industry experience our team brings to the table,” DeFrancesco said. “We continue to innovate and meet the needs of the promotional products industry, I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in the New Year.”
